General description
PALLISCO (SARL) was established in Cameroon in 1972 to meet the need for a supply of high-quality logs and sawn timber for the manufacture of PASQUET joinery products in France.A forestry operation site and a sawmill were established in eastern Cameroon, in the village of Eboumétoum, located 240 km from Yaoundé (Messamena Municipality, Haut-Nyong Division, Eastern Region).In 1985, the company shifted its focus toward secondary processing, with the establishment of a drying and planing facility to further enhance the value of certain timber species. In 1996, a second logging site, located closer to the forest resources, was established in Mindourou, together with the creation of the CIFM processing unit (Mindourou Industrial and Forestry Centre).
